Here is the second installment of our little celebration for approaching the 50 year mark. Today, we translate the words for ten different French fruits.

Colorful illustration of assorted fruits: fig, grapes, apple, pear, cherries, and peach with leaves on a white background. Vibrant and fresh.

I have to say, AI can generate some lovely images, like the one seen above. Here are today's fruits translated from English to French:

Fig

La figue

Plum

La prune

Apple

La pomme

Grape

Le raisin

Pear

La poire

Apricot

L'abricot

Cherry

La cerise

Blueberry

La myrtille

Raspberry

La framboise

Quince

Le coing

Let's note that the French-Canadian term for blueberry is la bleuet instead of la myrtille. Otherwise, it does not matter if one is from Québec or France or elsewhere, because most of us probably agree that all these fruits are delicious!
