Finally!!! We have reached the final day of our countdown toward translating fifty French flowers, fruits, and herbs! Hurray!!!

A vibrant collage of fruits: strawberries, peach, blackberries, lemons, watermelon slice, grapes, and olives with green leaves on a beige background.

Today's list consists of mostly fruits, but I had to include a few important French exports such as lavender.

Strawberry

La fraise

Melon

Le melon

Blackberry

La mûre

Peach

La pêche

Olives

Les olives

Orange

L'orange

Lemon

Le citron

Clementine

La clémentine

Fennel Seed

Les graines de fenouil

Lavender

La lavande

This list includes a fruit known as Clementine or la clémentine in French. However, it is not just a fruit. Clementine is also the name of a very talented French singer who is featured in the song Nuits d'été along with her equally talented brother, Oscar Anton. It is truly one of my favorite songs ever. Nonetheless, today is my birthday, so let's celebrate with another one of their great songs, Minuit!
