Historic Garden Week in Virginia: April 18-25th in 2026

The Garden Club of Virginia is celebrating the Semiquincentennial, which commemorates the 250th year since the American Revolution. The celebration will occur during the annual Historic Garden Week from April 18-25 in 2026.

As always, there will be a variety of historic sites along with newer homes and gardens. Details of the various tours and tickets can be found at the Garden Club's website:
The cover of the guidebook features the Governor's Palace. There are numerous other historical points of interest, as well as tours of newer homes and gardens. French influences can be found in places like Danville, Martinsville, Charlottesville, and Richmond. Some tours will feature additional activities such as flower arranging and garden lectures.
